This is my main blog. I also mirror posts from it on LiveJournal if you prefer that site. Every other Wednesday (or so, depending on how busy I am), I run my popular Women Who Rock Wednesday feature where you can learn about talented female artists, musician, and writers and win great prizes! However, I must admit that my blog has been suffering lately with all of the other projects I'm doing, so I've recently started a tumblr and if you follow me here, you'll get more frequent updates (hopefully!) and insights into what's inspiring me and my latest book!
Not a blog, but probably the project I am most proud to be a part of. ROOKIE is an online magazine for teenage girls created by editor-in-chief, Tavi Gevinson. I'm a staff writer and write roughly two or three pieces a month including personal essays that deal with my real-life teenage struggles (some of which inspired my books), raves about things that I love, and more. When this kicked off in September 2011, I began to focus a lot more on it than my personal blog, so you will find me on ROOKIE a lot!
I post here every month on the 13th (my lucky number!) with 21 other YA authors who push boundaries and dare to write books that are different. If you like my books, chances are you will like theirs, so check it out!
